Laura Carly Miller
is a Métis interdisciplinary artist with a focus in acting, physical theatre/dance, directing, writing/devising, marketing and producing.
With over 24 years of performance training, I’ve trained for many years under multiple dance and acting methods including Stanislovky, Strasberg, Meisner, “Method” acting, Viewpoints Technique, Suzuki, Crosspoints, Ivanna Chubbuck, Uta Hagen, Anthony Meindl and Larry Moss. I’ve trained in Vancouver, Canada as well as New York City, and London, England.
I specialize in devising and creating immersive experimental performances for both the stage and screen.
Furthermore, I co-founded a company,
Third Wheel Productions (www.thirdwheelproductions.ca), that produces large scale immersive events as well as one on one interactive experiences.
I’m highly skilled at producing and marketing independent films and stage productions as well as teaching movement based training in the form of classes and workshops to performance artists and actors alike. Specializing in the teachings of Viewpoints, Suzuki and Crosspoints.
